Ongoing Problem With Pictures Updating

RMLS REQUIRES that my MLS feed is updated daily. I have had an ongoing problem with this for over a year. Every time I check a listing that I know photo changes have been made on I see old pictures.

According to my website my MLS was updated today.

This listing's main picture has not been on the MLS for MANY months. Every time I find old pictures I am assured the problem is fixed. This needs a permanent fix !

The picture with that Airstream Trailer was taken off the MLS LAST YEAR!

This makes me look bad as I promote myself as having the best website in the area.

I simply can not believe a picture that old is still on my website. What really bothers me is that it seems every time I check I find this problem.

How many of my clients have noticed this and not said anything?

It is unacceptable that my website shows it is updated daily and the pictures are definitely not being updated daily.

Hi Dennis,

The IDX data is indeed updating daily - The images are also updating - What happens is there is a deleted.txt file which comes each day and contains a list of image file names and is the only way we know what images to delete ( if a listing is still active ) - so what I suspect happened is that the script missed one day of deleting the images - so this one got left up there.

Sorry for the troubles - we'll get this corrected as soon as possible.

Hi Aaron, this really needs fixed soon and then you will need to re-load all pictures. The photos are not updating daily except for adding pictures to new listings.

I made some changes to pictures here; http://www.dennispeaseteam.com/idx/r...0/details.html on Friday and it is still showing the old pictures.

The owner is expecting changes made within 24hrs, which has not happened.

We'll investigate the delay - We'll run a full delete and update script update to ensure we have the correct images.

Aaron, please read through this thread. This has not worked correctly since day 1 (1.5 yrs.). We have a problem somewhere that never gets resolved even though I am assured it has been.

This listing http://www.dennispeaseteam.com/idx/residential/8064120/details.html had pictures updated on 7/21/08 and my website still shows the old pictures.

What can we do to resolve this problem once and for all? This is not an occasional problem, it's just that I check occasionally and I find the problem every time I check, seriously.

Help me out buddy, this has to be fixed.

From the "deleted" images file it appears the 16 images were updated on
