I just ran across a competitor who is doing great in the SE's and I found that he created several blogs (meaning like 40+) all with the blog url and name being Location+ Re- KW... so Pacific beach homes .blogspot .com is one... and he has tons of them.. each only has one post and they have a paragraph or two with the Kw's linked to his page in the anchor inside that paragraph...
It LOOKs like a decent Idea to me... but what do you guys think? here's his profile on Blogspot: www. blogger. com/profile/5167778

Hi Rustin,
I am seeing more and more agents get into blogs. I think it is a good idea. I have one going here: http://www.thesarasotamls.com/saraso...l-estate-news/ I am only doing one blog. I'm not sure if I want to get into a blog for each area. That might be more than I want to chew. I use www.blogger.com |

You can use blogs to help your rankings, but you will need to provide them with some unique content and get links for them. The blogs will not get you top the top on their own, but they can help if done correctly.
I am working on 3 blogs at this time, the plan is to post closed sales on a weekly basis. Also update as to how many homes are on the market and how many are under contract to give people a snap shot of the market. So far I haven't been able to get it rolling, need to learn to live on 5 hours of sleep instead of 6.

Right... I know blogs will help... but I am wondering if starting 40 of them with just one page each and optimizing that page like crazy off keyword1+city.blogger.com as the url... with links to your site will help...
Take a look at my example of what this guy has done and let me know if you think this will help or is it kinda unethical considering HE wrote off the blogs and produced all the links to his site?

One page blogs are a waste of cyber space, but if you get them links pointed at each of them they will have some PR to pass. Wouldn't waste my time with them as it seems a little shadey to me, but each person has their own values.
