In my opinion, you get what you pay for. So I recommend using REW. REW is the 3rd company I used for my website and I am extremely happy and I don't see myself using anyone else.

Oh really????
Back to the topic: REW custom or REW Template are the big 2 IMO. If you can't swing those - you can look at doing a Wordpress site.

While I think it is a worthless site, you could try a free P2Agent site. However, like papaul1621 stated, you get what you pay for, so free probably equates to worthless. I could not afford an REW site either at one time.. now I can't afford to be without it! Maybe REW will have another template site promotion in the future and you can jump on board then.
You should think about what you want a site for..ie, to be a lead generator, a focus of your business, a cyber-business card so you can say you have a site, just to have one as an "I love me" site, to dominate the SERP's in your area, etc. If it is for anything less than being a lead generator or a focus of your business, then you probably don't need an REW site.

REW has an excellent reputation and so I would recommend using their services. If you can not afford a custom site at this time you might try their template option.
If the template option is out of your ball park than I would just hold off as you will not find anyone worth employing to build a custom site for less than the template. If you are set on having a custom site built and can not afford to use REW than you might try finding someone at digitalpoint forum. |

Honestly if it were me (And I had zero dollars) (Or less than the $740 for a REW site) - I would probably go with WP as well. There are a lot of free templates out there for use, and the content management system is quite good.
They won't be out of the box real estate ready like REW sites so will require a lot more of YOUR time and labor, but if that is all you have, then that is the way to go. Another thing to possibly consider is to just use your REW blog or other sites already pre-built and mask or iframe the a URL to it - They have certain drawbacks (Like the ability to access other members) but the benefits are a professional design and immense authority to work with to generate natural search engine rankings. (Warning if you use your REW Blogs be sure to read the TOS, we are very finicky about quality control) Point2 - Good people "decent" sites (Again IF you put the labor into them)

I had an Advance Access site for years because they were cheap but now I truly see the difference since I have an REW site, you do get what you pay for!
WP would be the other option on the budget or as stated go for the non-upgraded REW template, good layouts and not to expensive.
