I kind of dig, what you have done with the BG image, it's a nice customization - subtle, but makes it feel a little less like a template.

Normally I don't like that color scheme myself (personal preference) but I think with the new orleans photos, it's actually quite a good choice.

I really like the BG image. The logo is pretty excellent, too. The only thing I can suggest is to maybe shrink the logo a bit. It seems a bit too big.

Overall, pretty awesome.

I really like the color scheme. To me it has a very nice "New Orleans" feel.

I think your phone numer should be a little larger. You might also consider a prominent link to your blog somewhere.

Very nice! I'm in Alexandria and haven't been to New Orleans since '05. I think your pictures on the homepage are a good choice and reminds those thinking of relocating to NO that it's as beautiful now as before the hurricane.

I like the burgandy, you made good use of space and the side navigation is very easy to follow. The only thing I'm not so sure about is the brown background (personal preference), maybe a dusty rose or lighter shade of burgandy might brighten it up a bit?
