Default Honest Opinion

I have my site geared towards the we buy houses approach, i want to some feedback to tell me how i can improve the conversion rate on my site. for a good three weeks, i was raking in some good leads, now things are slowing down.

I think my site can use a makeover so any advice will be appreciated. I won't take offense, unless you are just a butt. Anyways fire your best shot, i need a few ideas tossed around.

Hi GetSmart,

You have a rough attempt at direct response advertising copy on your site. This form is begining to get on peoples nerves. More and more it is becomming the case that individuals are wising up to this form of advertising many are even calling it spam.

This means that if you are going to implement this strategy your ad copy has to be perfect. I noticed more than 8 grammatical error in the first 3 paragraphs and I am no english wisbang. I would suggest working with someone and the two of you promoting one another as this strategy is working very well but if you are focused on doing it alone. And you want to use direct response copy I would suggest hiring someone to rewrite your material as only the best are getting results with this form of content.

Most are using Maslows hierarchy of needs to develop their copy and they are having expensive free lance journalists write it for them.

I agee with James 100%. I would suggest you do a Google search for direct response copywriting. You might consider having a professional go over your content.

How about a different header, seems like you need to read the first paragraph to see what it's about (perhaps it's just me?) how about instead of the "you can sell your house....etc in blue at the top you have a fist full of cash and a simple "we buy homes in ANY condition! or something simple and quicker, just a thought.

The nav links at the top are not very big / noticeable, maybe me eyes are shot today

Other opinions above are agreed to here...right track but needs cleaning up I think.

I had to do a double take and make sure I was on the home page of the site. I think the home page should more concise with a simple elevator pitch and not the complete details of your service. Also, add some personal branding such as a photo or logo which would help gain the users trust before you go into such great detail.

You are absolutely right, I wish I had known before optimized my site for a few keywords. I might have to start working on some interior pages that address the keywords i am looking to rank for. It might take some time, but your point is worth a try I think. Giving too much info on one page can't be good.
