1) When I click on the directory signup link, why does it take me to "REW Blog Signup"?

2) How does one get a hyperlink the link in the directory listing description?

3) Is a Homepage link to REW required for participating in the REW directory?

This thread says "if you are submitting to our directory for a free listing, you must provide a clean html link from your HOMEPAGE to real estate webmasters..."

This blog post says "Homepage link to REW no longer required for participating in the REW directory. We truly appreciate it if you link to Real Estate Webmasters as a thank you and to help spread the word about our great community, but it is by no means required..."

1: Because you must have an REW Blog account (Which is free) in order to submit to the directory (There is a would you also like to be listed in the directory button)

2: You don't - we don't allow html to be submitted in the directory (We used to, but to much link spam)

3: Yes you must verify your site ownership by placing a link on your homepage, sorry for the conflicting info, the REW directory has been up a long time and has seen many changes - but in it's current form, the homepage link is required.
