I wanted a lot more area for listings display, breaking out of all of their different link types (Tools, property types, featured areas etc)

Let me know what yall think so far (Just went live so if you see any bugs pointing them out is appreciated as well)

I like it. The search on either side of the slideshow is exactly why I want to go wide with my site and the map search is certainly more effective than the way mine is set up on the 800 X 600.

If there is anything that I would say that MAY be negative is that there is a lot of empty space on the lower levels left and right of the homepage.

That's a very sharp looking site, I like the way the map and quick search are very prominent on the header. Color combo is great too!

There is a plan for those areas - Calum has big plans to add more tools and more featured areas, which will lengthen the navigations - and that "specialty properties" section I designed specifically to be for long tail opportunities so I am hoping over time, that will increase in length as well due to the addition of featured projects, new developments etc

That being said - it is probably a good idea to look at the length of the homepage content, now that we have a new design and new navigation, it can probably be condensed a bit.

Tough challenge really, for shorter pages longer navigation will look weird and for longer pages shorter navigation would look weird - and because content cannot be standardized in length (Some pages necessarily should be short others should be long) I think this will always be a challenge with any website - I would love to hear thoughts on this, as it is something i have mulled over many times.

I know you guys are looking for symetry. Some times there is a lot to say and some times there isn't. You will drive yourself crazy worrying about that. I haven't ever been bothered by that except in cases where amateur puts up one silly sentence or paragraph that really has no purpose. We know that won't be the case on Calum's site.

Looks great - I like the search on either side of flash images too.

Of course Morgan and his team (Phil, Leif, Mike, Aaron, Tacey, and I'm sure plenty of others behind the scenes) did most of the heavy lifting.

I have to give a lot of the credit to my wife Kathy on this project, especially the design on the listing detail page, which she really mocked up on her own. I think she did a great job, although Phil and Leif are probably happy to be done with project. Kathy must have sent them 20 mocked up photoshop files and was constantly asking them questions; how her photoshop files would look in html? What fonts worked best? What size can the pictures be? Thanks for being so patient guys.

In terms of the feedback, I see what you're saying about the space on the left and the right. We do have plans for additional links, but we probably could edit down some of the copy now that we have the left right navi.
