Individual site fluctuations do not mean that anything is updating, Google makes changes to individual sites up or down based on their algo all the time.

Google is still in the middle of their "Bourbon" update. Some terms will not see any change, some have already settled back down (this has been a long update) and some will still be changing drastically. If your site has dropped significantly dont panic. Just be patient for a few days or a week and see if the rankings come back. Chances are its just a temporary move. If you wait for a while and still dont see any change back to normal then it might be time to consider what changes you need to make to your site. If you want more info on the update search for Google Bourbon update or click over to the forums on seochat.com. There are some guys who really know what they are doing when it comes to Google. Now real estate on the other hand....
