Default Loading Images on Blog

Website: bestminneapolisrealestateteam.com

The default screen when you click on the insert button, asks for a url. If the image is on my hard drive where do I get a URL?

If I go to the Upload tab, I click on the browse button and select the image I want. Then I click on OK and I get an error message "Please tupe the image URL".

How do you load a pictue?

Is there some direction manual which I can go to to find answers to questions like this?

Hello Jane,

Please find the tutorial for inserting image here:
http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...cms-tutorials/

You can also follow these steps and let us know on which step you are having error messages:
1. Click on Insert Image
2. Click Browse...
3. Find the image on your hard drive
4. Click Open
5. Click Upload
6. The picture should appear under "Image Files"
7. Click on the picture that is now on the server
8. It will show the entire picture, click on it
9. Click ok
10. Enter alternate text if you wish

Hope that helps

Hi Jane,

Please try the following steps:
Click Insert Image -> Browse Server -> Browse
Select the file and click Open
After the picture appear, click on it and you should be returned to the previous window and have the URL field filled automatically.
Click OK.

This should work because we have tested it just now =)
But let us know if anything else comes up.

No. The problem is it will not accept a jpg. The error message is wrong file type. We' like this fixed by today.

Hi Jane,

Could you please let us know exactly how you are getting the error message. Like which steps are you talking to upload this image.
Are you uploading it using the CMS "Image ToolBox", the "listings manager", or the "blog"?

I tested all three with a sample jpg - so maybe it's something up with your file. Could you attach the JPG to an email and send it to support@realestatatewebmasters.com ... ?

Thank you,

Uploading images has nothing to do with our blog. I am not trying to load a picture on our blog. I can do that successfully.

On the home, 'main' page of our website www. bestminneapolisrealestateteam.com I am trying to upload a picture under the featured property section. I login to administer the site, go to the main page HTML, click where I want the picture, click on the insert photo icon. On the next screen I click on browse, go to my file on my c drive, select the picture and click on up load. The error message comes up and says unacceptable type. Attached is the picture I want to upload.

Thank you.

I uploaded the image into the CMS "Image ToolBox" ... so you can insert it now. I'm not sure why it wouldn't upload for you.
