Is it OK to link with realtors in the same state?
Hi, I just have a simple question. Is it a bad idea and do I get punished for linking to realtor websites from my city or state? There are two realtor members from Illinois and Chicago Suburbs on this forum. If I (I work in downtown Chicago) exchanged with them, what are the disadvantages? Let me know, Mert.

It actually would be a better link if you compared it to a link with a real estate site located in another state that would be similar to the local site you are linking with.

If on your street, either side of your office, there are two other real estate offices on either side of yours that have good sites - get links from both if you can!

chicago real estate site linking to chicago real estate site is a 100% relevance match and can do nothing but good for both parties assuming both sites are in good standing with the search engines
