I am going to be running a referrals contest over the next 2 months start date July 1 / 2005

The goal of this contest is to increase awareness about this great real estate forum. So here is the deal:

The member that reffers the most posting members to the real estate webmasters forum by Sept first will have their choice of the following:

1 months full link building services - Free! (We charge $500 USD for this service and it is very effective)

or

A free real estate template + one years hosting - FREE! (We charge $500 USD for the template and $240 for the year for hosting - this can be used to replace an existing site, or you can make a second site - your choice)

To reffer someone to real estate webmasters, all you have to do is send them your referral link. In order to access your referral link all you have to do is click on User CP at the top menu of this forum (right beside the logo) you will see a message saying

Please help us spread the word about the Real Estate Webmasters forum. When referring others to the community you can use the link below which includes your unique referral ID.

Each time someone follows this link to Real Estate Webmasters and registers as a new member, your referral count will be incremented by one. The number of referrals you have can be viewed in your profile.

Please be courteous when promoting Real Estate Webmasters by not spamming other web sites with your referral link just to gain referrals.

Thanks to our great moderator resale broker for pointing out the hack for this message.

The only stipulation is for a referral to count, the member must be a posting "active" member. What this basically means is they at least have to make 1 post to show they are real people, not just a bunch of accounts signed up from proxies or whatever, but you guys are all really honest anyways so I dont see it as to much of an issue.

So yeah, let the games begin! Any questions or comments on the contest let me know!

No. When a visitor follows the link it simply takes them to the home page while behind the scenes vBulletin logs the referral ID.
