SAR MLS Board gone to far
We need your help and support for one of our own - details at http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...rey/6350/show/ - the NAR and this MLS board in particular need to be made aware that this sort of behavior will not be tollerated especially when targeting one of our own members.

Well as ridiculous and unfair that this is, I noticed Marc's new site is numero uno for Sarasota Real Estate. Way to go Marc! Goes to show that you can't keep a good man down!

Apparently, the jury of his peers (ethics committee) cleared him of any ethics impropriety. So, why the decision to continue the fight?
Do boards not listen to their members? (SAR in particular) If the ethic committee cleared him, then why did Board staff make the decision to hire the attorney and continue the pursuit via ICANN even after being, apparently, cleared on any ethics violations. Were there any complaints of bad faith use of the domain name? Is there any underlying agenda here? (Will the elimination of any competing URL's eventually benefit any particular party?) Does this loss establish a precedence to be used against others?

Morgan thanks for posting to keep everybody aware of things like this. I read the entire post, truly sad and dissapointing anyone needs to go through this.
I would say all greed on their part. Nice way to treat your memebers SAR. I forwarded this to othger agents in my local database so hopefully some others can join forces as this kind of thing could happen to any of us, enough is enough. Best of luck.

If it wasn't for the board of realtors, we wouldn't need a board of realtors. It almost seems like a monopoly. Most boards make you become a member just to be able to have access to the MLS.
Do we really need the NAR? Just curious on what other people think.

The only ethics that were violated is when the haters at the Sarasota board continued to go after Marc...even after loosing their case in their own trumped up monkey court. For shame.
