For those of you who have achieved top rankings with your desired keywords, how much business are you doing off of your website?

I have heard of a guy in St. Louis who is doing 8 deals a month off of his site. An agent in my company told me he makes about $125,000 a year off of his site.

If I could do 2 deals a month off of my site, I would be thrilled.

Really it depends on the city you are working in. I have noticed that some cities seem to have more traffic then others. Its sad but true some areas of the country are more web savvy then others.

I know someone in South Carolina that closed 38 deals from there website last month..but he has had a long time presents there. Closing deals from your website is really all about your backend system. How well do you follow up.

You could have a real estate website that gets 500 leads a day but if you dont follow up it doesnt mean anything. 80% of people using the web use the first agent they come into contact with and gets back to them first..so being the first to follow up with them is VERY VERY important.

I've got top rankings and have more business than 4 of us can handle. We could double our size and still not take care of the volume. I've taken to only responding to the immediate people who are buying in the upper price range.

My goal is to get 5% of the leads converted to sales. That doesn't seem like a lot but we get hundreds every month.

It's all about focus. Focus on a niche. Ignore the rest.

Yes, it helps to be located in a place where people want to be.
