So we officially launched our SearchMonkey Application for Yahoo! users. It's a pretty slick application and the end result is your organic listings appearing much different than all other organic listings.

Here's an example of our yahoo organic listings with the Application turned on:


Yahoo! users just go to this url: http://gallery.search.yahoo.com/application?smid=a7C.s and click on the 'Add' button. Then when searching for homes (in the Dallas area of course) like at an address level or even a general search term level will see those results pictured above within the organic search results. (Assuming your site is respectfully ranking in Yahoo!, which mine isn't ...yet )

Webmasters, don't get scared by the name 'Application', it's actually pretty easy to setup. It has to do with mapping out the different elements in your html on Yahoo's side, setting up the php script on their side as well and them showing those results that they have in their index, but displayed in a more enhanced manner.

If you care to go down this route, it is a bit of time to invest that might better be spent writing blog articles if your site doesn't already have easy to dissect html code. But if you do, I'm here to help and offer my knowledge on this matter!

So far Google is only enhancing their listing with things like sitelinks and their own properties like youtube video and maps locations.

If you want to see an example of sitelinks, search for "dallas family homes" and you'll see the example of mine. They don't get it right everytime, but they usually correct it (like the first link in my example).

Again, if anyone wants to build a search monkey app for their site, or if rew wants to add it to their product, let me know.
