Default Real Estate Scripts

I'm about to move from my old clunky plain html real estate web site to create a larger one for a client. I have been researching real estate scripts till my eyeballs want to fall out.
I've been reading the comments here on your forum as well.
Though the price-ier scripts seem to have lots of bells and whistles that I don't need, I keep coming back to the really nice features on the extremely inexpensive WidgetProperty.
Anyone have any experience or input on WidgetProperty?
Thanks in advance!
So glad I found this board.

I think he might mean an all-in-one website or CMS that has everything a real estate website might need... maybe similar to OpenRealty....

OpenRealty is good open source but it can not complete your custom real estate requirements, i have seen that my many of clients always ask me for a quote to build a real estate website based on custom requirements and features and then we build the site based on those...

That is quite a statement. What requirements are you talking about? Yes, you may have to customize OR to get everything you want but I know of no commercial program that gives you everything you want out of the box. The big difference is you can customize OR and there are hundreds of programmers that will compete for your business. How many designers firms or commercial programs have that ability.

I checked out phpMyRealty.com(PMR) and found it to be pretty good. But I have plans to use Joomla as the base CMS and that would make using PMR a mess. So I had a look at the Hot Property Demo. The demo wasn't all that pleasing as it doesn't seem to offer the features provided by PMR and the template too was bad. So what I want to know Is whether Hot Property is really feature deficient? Also can somebody give me a link to a site that uses it so that I can clear my doubts about the templating system as well.

Yeah, if all you want is a "listing" script, OpenRealty is a good way to go.

If you want a complete CMS, I recommend Mambo CMS. It has an OpenRealty component, and if you don't mind paying for quality, I love Hot Property.
