Audio download of the REW conference

I have a recommendation. I would definitely pay for an audio/video download of upcoming conference. This would be great for people that will not be able to make it.

I think it should be for the attendees only. Or - provide audio/video for $499

later to those with a 300 post count... i dunno.. incentives! But remember, part of the value is MEETING the people. You won't get that if you don't go.

I wish I could, but I have some major events happening during that time.

And you're right . The people there would be worth meeting.

I second that. I am super busy and already have 4 conferences book for 2009(one next week in Toronto) but would like the opportunity to experience what happened. I do agree that it should be something we should pay for. $499 seems a little high though.

Knox, you hit it on the head.... getting to meet and spend time with people during the conference -- whether REW staff or clients -- makes the trip.

Last year the classes were great, and will be great again this year. However, the format for the conference has been altered to reduce the number of classes to two per day and increase the amount of time for break-out sessions and hands on discussions. Networking slots are also slated at twice per day.

I love British Columbia, but it sure does seem like a trek from San Diego. It's not the money so much as the time. I like the idea of offering the courses online.

If it is recorded everyone might not be as candid as they would if it were not recorded. Just my thought on the subject.

"What happens in Nanaimo...Stays in Nanaimo!" 15 mins hanging out with guys like Dave Abernathy & Dennis Pease is worth the price of admission & travel, cancel the other stuff IMO.

The speakers are awesome too and everybody is good about sharing info, but it is a different environment, kind of secret like a meeting of all the mob bosses LOL. Mob bosses don't tape their meetings.

Wow, what else can I say... I will say this, that for me as well, the personal relationships that were cemented in Nanaimo made the trip worth every penny.

Actually we had the pleasure of traveling with Dave Abernathy back to Seattle, and I believe it was Mike Brown that said if you get a chance to talk to Dave, make sure you have a tape recorder. I would agree!

Did we just talk about cement, the mob and secret meetings. After living in Las Vegas for 23 years I know a thing or two about this <grin>. See, you don't even have to worry about competitors there. After all there is one heck of a lot of water around Nanaimo.

Going to this conference is so much more than sitting through a few classes like a lot of seminars. Brian in his own fun way is 100% accurate in that;
You do have to be there to experience it. Period!
