It just occured to me as I work on a clients site that I really havent done the proper research into ALL the proper keywords for real estate.

Naturally I go for

Area Real Estate
Area Real Estate Agent
Area realtor
area mls
area mls listings
area homes
area condos
real estate area
real estate agent area
realtor area
area lofts
lofts area

And a bunch more, but I want to hear from you guys, what should a the standard list of keywords to target be for your website to capture all the best traffic? I am thinking I will use this data here and the rest of my research, to compose a glossary of the most search real estate permutations here at REW. Your input is greatly appreciated.

You cant be serious! There have to be more decent permutations I mean I know they will change per area, like for Mr Destin and Emerald Coast over there in Florida it makes sense to target things like Waterfront Destin Condos or Waterfront Emerald Coast Condos kind of deal, but there has to be more common terms that pop up over and over.

Anyone?

You forgot one the biggest keyphrases of them all, "buying a home".

I guess it also depends in which culture you are working.

Prior to March 12th., at PR0 and no backlinks, we were No.1 in Google for all search terms.

This included e.g. real estate mytown, estate agents mytown, and the logs show that we did not get a single hit with those terms, in 5 cities and mystate.

However, apartments for sale mytown, houses for sale mytown, etc got masses.

Although some of your keywords are on target. Others seem thought out by a realtor NOT your clients.... you need to think like someone looking for Real estate. Personally if I am looking for Real Estate I would think "property". And I certainly wouldn't be looking for an agents name, in fact I don't care about the agent in an initial search. I am looking for location, property type or area. So without giving you exact keywords. Think like a customer NOT a realtor.
