Steve, I personally think that all loan mod companies are scams because the home owners can easily do it themselves by reading a few articles online. Paying someone upwards of $2500 for 2-4hrs of work is not the best option for homeowners who might be facing financial problems already.
Here, Steve. You might find this helpful http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/thread34097.html Last edited by AnnAnderson1015; 05-07-2009 at 03:22 AM. |

Steve, I know of a reputable Loan Mod company that have attorneys do them. The analysis is free to see if you qualify for a Loan Mod with a 85% - 95% certainty that they can complete it. If they can't complete the Loan Mod within 180 days they will refund your money.
And yes homeowners can do Loan Mods themselves but there is such a backlog that they'll lose their home while they wait on the bank. Might as well let an attorney do the work for you. Attorneys seem to be able to make the Banks act quickly! These attorneys charge $2,100 and only do Loan Mods in CA, NV, WA and OR.
