I am a newbie here. I was wondering what you guys thought about microsoft's Bing and its new features, design, etc.

Have any of your pages lost rank as a result of its changes? (From Live.com to Bing.com that is)

You know Rick,I just came across that today and wondered what it was,not realizing it it their new map tool. What I used briefly I liked. It has their birds eye and a sort of box draw feature if I recall. I do like their stuff. Ms virtual earth is pretty cool too.

I agree Greg. I've actually used MS Earth over Google on a few projects I've done for colleagues.

I like it a lot better than msn's old search, I rank on it unlike msn live and it looks a lot more like G and Y now. much better than live search imo.

Hi Brian,

I do favor Bing over Live/MSN search as well. Many functionality improvements in my opinion.

On a side note: I was wondering if anyone at REW has formulated an ROI analysis of the traffic generated through G, Y, MSN, etc. (Organic traffic that is.)

In the past I've heard from others that traffic from Yahoo and MSN (perhaps due to audience demographics) has resulted in more qualified traffic. Which resulted in a higher conversion/lead ratio. Coming from the medical equipment manufacturing industry (B2B), I was wondering if anyone in the real estate industry has experienced similar results.

As a webmaster, I'm seeing more referrals this week from bing. It's still a very "spammable" search engine, though, so to speak.

I have had two signups this week from Bing searches for MLS #'s Now I'm trying to figure out why so I can keep them coming.

It's funny you say that because Google analytics is not picking up keywords from Bing, only as a referral.
