Default Commercial Property - Completed Sales Info Needed

I am doing a study of the completed sales of commercial property in Houston and Dallas for the last six months for my boss. I am not a realtor, nor is he. Is there any single public information source out there where I can access this information? Thanks very much for your help.

I would think the closest and best way to get the answers for your question would be visiting your records dpt. at the state or county office. Researching the deeds/titles maybe? Good question.

You may want to check the county's website. Most major metropolitan areas either have their tax records integrated with a GIS system, or will soon. Examples of this are the Roswell, GA GIS and Larimer County GIS . Larimer County even offers an API for interfacing with their database, allthough I haven't had time to play around with it. Hope this helps.
