Default 4 leads off of Facebook in 2 months

I really enjoy REW and have always wanted to give back to the community. I've been twittering/facebooking/blogging/networking and I've been realizing over the short term that facebook has been a great source of referrals for me. I'm more than happy to share what I do and how it works.

Disclaimer 1. This will not work unless you are sincere and consistent on actually communicating with people.

The big aha moment came for me after I started talking to 10-20 people locally on twitter. I realiazed active people on social networking sites are more than happy to communicate with you and some actually enjoy it.

Facebook is somewhat similiar to twitter and my strategy on Facebook is to spend one hour per day and massively communicate with first the people who are actively doing status updates. Whenever someone post's something that you can logically add something to the conversation DO IT!

Secondly I will go through my friends list once a month and pound through the people I don't actively talk to on a weekly basis and look at their profile page and try to find something they've been talking about that I can put in a good comment.

Third I avoid talking REAL ESTATE like the plague. My profile page has my website's has my blog information and has a brief bio on what I do sell real estate. They look at your stuff more than you realize.

I will slip in a status update every once and a while but for the most part it's about my personal life.

Once you actively start communicating and have a set plan over time you will build relationships with these people and the referrals will naturally come in. It's a contact sport the more people you contact the better the chances of getting a referral.

I am working on building a contact database specificially for Facebook Friends once I have developed an online relationship i'm going to add them to my newsletter campaign and send out one email per month. I'm very skeptical about this just because I really dont like getting random messages in my inbox so I shouldn't expect someone else to.

This is what I'm doing and i'm really starting to see the benefits and am growing my database on a daily basis

If anyone else has any success stories lets talk about them or if you've had success with newsletter campaigns with your facebook friends I'd love to hear about it.

Happy Facebooking and Generating Quality Referrals.
