If you want to rewrite an article without losing its soul and without inviting the risk of any copyright infringement, you must use your brain to rewrite that article. There is no software that can match the power of your brain. A piece of code cannot think. But your brain can. A piece of code can’t distinguish between meaningless and useful stuff but your brain can.

You should NEVER rewrite an article that does not belong to you, that's creating a derivative work and is STILL plagiarism

Do not just change one or two words when you rewrite your content. Your goal should be at least 45% original content; more is better.

If I am stumped, and i mean stumped, I will find a few articles on a desired topic and use badarticle.com to get my own article started.

I agree with Morgan. Even if it's 95% re-written, if it's not content you rightfully own, it's plagiarism.

With that said, assuming you're talking about re-writing I think it's important that you differentiate re-writing and spinning.
Spinning is more automated where you do something like The [quick|fast|speedy] brown [fox|cat|cow] jumped over the [lazy|sleeping|dead] [dog|turtle|bum]. Spinning however, will easily - as you put it - "lose it's soul", and is almost more work than it's worth because even though you can generate a couple dozen versions of unique content with the push of a button, over half of them will end up being very awkward and seem as if written by someone who speaks English as a 2nd language (and poorly at that). A true re-write takes a little more care, and a little more time, but you should still end up with a unique article that won't be considered duplicate content. ie: Manually Re-writing each sentence in an article (or better yet - capturing the essence of an entire paragraph, and re-writing it in a different way.) If this sounds like too much work, there are plenty of people out there who will do so for about a penny a word. You could take one article you wrote, and have 3 or 4 separate authors re-write that article so you can place it on other sites without worrying about it not counting because of being thrown into the Supplemental Index. As with everything else, it's a quality vs. quantity decision.

The best way would definitely to hire someone. Not only will they present the information in a different style, but uniqueness will provide your readers with more value.
Providing your audience with more value is what will bring you the credibility and trust that will allow you to gain more visitors and get more sales. Simon |
