Default Irrelevant Anger . . .

OK I know there is nothing that can be done about it . . . and there is never a need a shed tears over that proverbial milk . . . but . . am I the only Realtor who feels a bit of anger at the credit score increases?

Anyone have any information on just how far these increases will go? Are we looking at 620's for a couple of months and then a hike up to 650? 700?

I heard one bank has gone to 640. They have to be losing a lot of business, not only from potential clients, but from existing business partners (builders, realtors) that are not happy about them being so strict. I think it stops at 620 and stays there for a year or more, then we will see companies getting daring and testing the waters again at 600. As I had mentioned before, some companies still go to 580, but they are tough loans to get approved.

It's a matter of what the secondary market will be willing to eat up. I know that many investors are scare after what has happened. But you will see ambitious investors giving the green light to lower scores as the home prices drop a little more.
