Default Incorrect broker reciprocity statement

I just noticed a Broker Reciprocity statement has been added to my IDX that wasn't there before. Did someone complain from my board/MLS?

Anyway, in the statement Baird & Warner is mentioned but I do not work for Baird & Warner. Please put Classic Realty Group in there instead.

I'm surprised it has to be shown on my regular city pages with my snippets since prospects have to register to get full details. Is this correct?

Thanks!

I'll need to get our IDX Coordinator to answer the "Why?" question, but I have changed the broker from Baird & Warner to Classic Realty Group, so at least it's accurate ;-)

On another subject entirely, is the dog in your photo a Tibetan Spaniel?

Wow! That was super quick! I'm sure it was a request (or a mandate) from my MLS so you don't have to really answer "Why." Thanks for changing that so promptly.

My doggie is a combination Pekingese and Shi Tzu named Gizmo. He's 11 years old and looks like a puppy. I also have a combination Japanese Chin and Pekingese who has been featured on a past avatar. Here's Bubba:

Hi Judy,

Actually, no.. this was not ordered by your MLS board. The broker reciprocity statement was added due to the fact that more and more boards are cracking down on non-compliant real estate websites that use their feeds.

If a site is found to be non-compliant.. it's the Vendor that ends up being responsible - therefor in order to not have our feeds cut off, we deemed it necessary to implement these compliance items.

I believe this was already supposed to have been done but for whatever reason, it was overlooked.

As for your question about the disclaimer being on the city pages, I believe you're right. This can be removed. I'll make sure that happens. It's only required on the detailed listings, as you said.

Thanks Nick. I would like it removed from my city pages so I appreciate that. Since this has been implemented I checked other sites and they don't have it on every search results page, like I have (at the bottom).

Could we just put it on each detail page only?

Yep. That's what I instructed production to do. It should be removed later today.
