Pingbacks/Trackbacks
One thing I genuinely miss about using WP is that you can "talk" to other WP blogs when you link to them or they link to you. This is done with some code in a file that comes with WP. This is one of the very best features and one that kind of takes me out of the blog world without it's use.
Is there a way to integrate the basics of that code into the REW blog so that this will work on the REW blog and all WP blogs? Would be the single coolest thing you could do to the basic REW blog...

Yeah this exists already
It works using the pingback standards.. http://www.hixie.ch/specs/pingback/pingback The 'Example' is how it works http://www.hixie.ch/specs/pingback/pingback#TOC5 It's been tested between REW Blogs, and also WP and REW Blogs
