Hi everyone-
I'm the webmaster for a magazine that's published weekly (4 territories currently) and what we are wanting to do is find software that would allow an agent to login and update their own data and the positions the listings go in (i/e build their own ad). In addition of course there is the case of wanting to be able to allow agents to customize their pages, etc. I've done some coding on a database myself, but I am by no means a programmer, does anyone have any software they suggest for these types of things? If anyone has any suggestions, I can be reached at rbaird@homesandloansmag.com Thanks so much for your help, these forums have been a wealth of information for me. -Rachel |

I'm sure you could talk to the webmaster of this site about creating a software program for something like that. I believe he has taken custom programming jobs in the past.

If you are looking to republish data in, say, a magazine format, you may want to consider using something structured like XML for formatting the data. If you are looking for web/print data combo, this might help. If the XML is in a RSS feed, it might also have some publishing advantages.
Otherwise, you could have a web-to-print system using traditional databases to output data. It all depends on your workflow. |
