Hey guys I've decided to have Morgan perform SEO for my site. Before I commit this money I was wondering if you could share from your experience what % of leads you are able to convert. I've spoke with other realtors in my market who say they get 5 leads per day from their site. You think at that level its safe to say I'll get a deal a week from those leads? Assuming I diligently follow up with these people?

In my opinion, with five leads a day you may close a deal or two a month.

If you are good at converting you will do 3-5%. Your key to conversion is quick follow up (w/i 1 hour) and an autoresponder doesn't count.

Entirely depends on how good your converter solution is. I suggest a VOW solution but it is just me. Good luck and even if you cant make the money go put ads on the website :-) Happy to have you in Morgan's family.

I agree with Kyle. 2 deals a month with 5 leads per day is realistic and attainable.

We get one or two leads a week off our site, and my wife turns one a month into a deal. Does that mean we're lucky?

If you concentrate on squezing each lead for all it's worth you may get better results. I personally don't put much effort into those people that have unrealistic ideas of home value. Example, "I would like a 4 bed 3 bath home on the ocean. I would be willing to go up to $300,000." I get a lot of these emails that are worthless. I don't have time to explain that they need to spend at least $1.5 million for a fixer upper on the ocean. That is just one example. Not every lead is going to pan out.
You and your wife are team, correct? I know that KensmithKW works with a team too. I work by myself. I don't have time to follow up stale leads. If I don't get a response after two emails, or a phone call (if they give their phone number), I move on. If you are working by yourself, I really doubt that anyone could consistantly close more than two deals a month with five leads a day. How would you have time to show property if you were on your computer sending out so many emails and follow up emails, plus all the emails that you have to send to people who have responded, and all the other day to day tasks on a daily basis?
