I was considering getting a piece of property in the NC area and was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on how to start my search for the right piece of property? I currently live in NY and have never been to NC. I've just heard about the booming market out there and I thought I'd try and get it in on it while it's still in the early stages.

Would like to get some opionions on what area I should look? I was thinking to look in Raleigh, but my gut is tellin me to go with a piece on the water...

Has anyone here invested in NC propertly lately that has an experience to share?
