I was considering getting a piece of property in the NC area and was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on how to start my search for the right piece of property? I currently live in NY and have never been to NC. I've just heard about the booming market out there and I thought I'd try and get it in on it while it's still in the early stages.

Would like to get some opionions on what area I should look? I was thinking to look in Raleigh, but my gut is tellin me to go with a piece on the water...

Has anyone here invested in NC propertly lately that has an experience to share?

Why Bill's Mountain??????

First is the obvious HGTV dream home. This year Lake Lure is expected to have some 60,000 people coming to town

to see this home. And guess what, to see this home, they need to pass by.....you guessed it "Bill's Mountain"

Now, in addition to the appreciation caused by the dream home being built, we believe that this land is in very desirable area for the 2nd home buyers. And, in about 5 years, we are going to see the 2nd buyers snapping up
properties in primarily 2 areas: The Sunbelt states, and Mountain Properties.
