Hello out there, I'm new to this forum but wanted to post a kind of Public Service Announcement. If you have been burned by FavoriteAgent, a Fayetteville NC company, file a complaint with the NC Attorney General's Office. Visit ncdoj.com & click on Consumer Protedtion & then File a Complaint. As a NC resident, I currently have a case open that you can join or reference in your own complaint. Feel free to contact me. We gotta stop these people from burning others!

Cary, altough we dont take sides, could you perhaps provide a little more detail on your grievence with favoriteagent? We certainly dont want to come across as bashing favorite agent, but members are still welcome to post their experience with service providers.

I'll be glad to comment. First, there isn't any disclosure made in FavoriteAgents sales pitch or licensing agreement that states for their technology to really work, the agent will have to spend lots of additional money & time to setup their own internet advertising campaign. (And of course FavoriteAgent has advertising partners that they would like for you to use)
Secondly, agents nationwide deserve to clearly understand what FavoriteAgent is really selling & what their software really does. They are in fact selling Internet Advertising Account Optimization (the training) along with a lead capture module. Essentially you pay for all the advertising that you normally would use to drive prospects to your own site. But FavoriteAgent has you redirect all that advertising & your domains to them, so they can capture the lead & redirect any prospects back to you. This is a joke when you consider that your own site provider gives site optimization info for free & can capture any leads & give you statistics to boot! |

Sadly, Favorite Agent is a member of the Better Business Bureau. You might consider contacting the BBB, however, not sure if it will do you a whole lot of good, as I feel the BBB is a scam. It's worth a try though.

I can't speak to their current operations, license terms or marketing techniques, but I used them early on in their corporate life, and was never mislead about what I needed to do to generate leads in addition to using their lead capture modules. In fact, my experience with them was good training and experience for what I do now for myself and my clients with Google AdWords and on my own website.
My only issue was (and still is), and it is generic to any lead capture process like theirs, is that leads who are forced to register "blind", before ever seeing your website and its home search capabilities, and not knowing who they will end up dealing with, tend to be very low quality leads. Over 60% of the leads I got through my initial AdWords campaigns and their lead capture forms provided bogus contact info. Once I figured that out, after about 6 months, I paid the remaining term (then only one year) and wrote it off as training expense, but I converted to a totally different and better quality lead capture process. Still, two of the buyer leads from their process did transactions with me, and those two transactions gave me a 500% positive ROI on the combined cost of their stuff plus my AdWords expenses, so the experience overall was positive, from a financial standpoint.
