Tom,
I'd suggest you contact AA support, or check the AA forum. I think you can create non-framed pages, but someone who really knows AA would be your best resource, IMO. Kathleen

Or you could take two steps back and begin with a proper website built without frames.

As KSA said it is best to contact your rep at AA. They are more than helpful usually in situations like this. If they are unable to help you, I'm sure we could help you out here. They'd just be able to do it the easiest for you.
Please let us know how you make out with this. Oh and if it doesn't work you can always take Oppenheimer's suggestion. |

If you consider your website a big part of your marketing stategy it certainly makes sense to do it right!

what i would like to do is start from scratch - i have dreamweaver, the whole adobe suite (cs) and various other useful tools for creating your own site. but my employers insist on using AA (which i have nothing against - thier great!) but i think i could do a better job from the ground up - not take over a template based site thats been passed around for years...well, 2 years i think -
btw - im not a webdesigner, thats not my job. well it is, but its not my 'main' job. i work in thier office doing various things to help them out with advertising and such, trying to learn as much about real estate as i can (which is a lot more than i originally thought) until i can go to school and get my liscense.

You could, on your own, spend $9.20 to register an abbreviated domain name
e.g. belpre-oh-real-estate(dot)com do the design work, complete the site in your spare time then "lease" it to your employer.

Or just them what you propose with an example you create so they can see you'll represent them in the profesional manner they desire.

i've decided to stick with AA - the more i learn the better i get at improving whats already there, making it easier than creating it on my own. not to be mistaken with the fact that i would love to create one on my own, but time these days has been less and less available to me.
thanks for all the tips - this is one of the best places to get website advice i've ever found.
