I have two old pages and I did a 301 redirect to a new URL (combining both pages too on the new URL).
Now I have pretty much 3 urls going to the same page.
Could that be bad for SEO?

Can anyone tell me how to get ranked #1?

If you did the 301 redirect correctly and the two old pages are no longer accessible then you will not have a problem. A problem will only occur when SEs index substantially similar pages on the same web site.

Hey Marc,

Could it be that you have low amount of content on your home page. I have been trying to figure out the problem with your website but i can not come up with anything else.

I was kind of joking about the "how to get to #1" question. It is possible that the lack of home page content hurts me. However, I don't want a home page with too much stuff on it. It gets ugly. Some of the sites in front of me have less home page content than me so I'm not sure if that is it.

I appreciate the feedback though.

I don't think it's so much the amount of content but rather the age of IBLs. I believe you will be #1 the way things are going.... in 2-3 months
