Default Using feeds to increase your sites content

There are many ways to increase content on your site, from manually creating it to purchasing software which will auto generate it for you. While I highly recommend you stay away from anything which is automatically generated I also understand that many people don’t feel comfortable writing. Therefore, in this article I look at another way to make your site appear as if its changing. That is, incorporating feeds into your site to improve return visits and build your brand.

I think PCDOC pointed this out before but this is by far the easiest way I've found to get an RSS feed on your site.

Can anybody tell me which plugin I need for Wordpress to add a crawlable RSS feed to a static page I created? or if there even is one?

I dont like any form of "Feeds" to attempt to bolster a site in some way by simply "Changing" its appearance "artificially". Another form of trying to spam Google and the like into thinking "You" are "Actually" working on your site.

Not long before this type of thing will be outlawed by the majors I think.

Well SunnyD, you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

But to answer "You" are "Actually" working on your site.

Yes, "We" (myself and my customers) do work on our sites everyday providing valuable and timely real-estate content to our customers.

Ummm, just like CNN, The Washington Times, Drudge, etc. etc.

As you are with your opinion :-),

But "I" do not find taking information from other sources (RSS etc ) as "Me" or anyone else as "Actually" or "Physically" working on their sites, nor will it or can be seen as unique content.....

I have never really been a fan of rss feeds and that's just my opinion. On my REW site there's simply no room on my home page. In fact, I feel it would clutter all of my home pages.

I continuously add new content to my site and my blog, which is hosted on my site. In fact, the only rss I would consider adding to my home page, if I had the room, would be the rss feed from my blog.

I'm trying to declutter my home page, not add more to it.

I heard many times people add rss to their sites and add it to myyahoo
and yahoo visits their sites more often and this helps with ranking. Is this true?
