Been thinking about taking-up a entirely new career this year while maintaining my Mortgage business on the side.

I know a lot of people that do this and i'm sure most of you do as well... it's just that although this business can be very rewarding, it's not something I pictured myself doing. The 2nd grade version of me would be very disappointed. I have a GI Bill that's been chillin' for years now and am currently in a profession that doesn't take a lot of my time. With the exception of a nightmare deal every so often i'm usually finished by noon!

So I’m thinking about promoting my website and other real estate based websites as I have been in order to eventually get more business. During the warmer months last year, my site seemed to generate a decent amount of business which was nice. And even so far this year my site has generated one solid lead. The only thing that would change would be the fact I wouldn't be hustling for deals as often. Hell, I may even generate more business in school and in my future career?

So i'm wondering how many of you do real estate as a side career?

And BTW, I am here to stay and so are the links of anyone that has exchanged with me. My domains will be old and crusty by the time I retire, so...

I've thought about it.

I'm still young yet, but maybe in a couple years, I'd like to learn more about real estate and look into it. My sister's boyfriend is only 25 and he's rolling pretty nicely with his career as a realtor.

Plus I'd definitely have an in with SEO Guy already

I don't know if I would want to do it full time though, but I guess you don't really have an option when you first start out - gotta get settled before you can manage your time better I guess.
