I haven't been back here in awhile, but I'm slowly making my way around to a couple of forums that I used to frequent. Many of our clients are real estate webmasters who are all trying to get a leg up in search engine rankings. One of the new year opening deals we have going on now is the $10/article submission to over 100 article directories.
Some articles we've submitted for r.e clients deal with "fsbo vs r.e agents" and "utilizing an self i.r.a account for r.e purchasing". By utilzing an article submission service, you get your website name and backlink spread out and visible in article directories. This may lend itself to an increase in PR for your website or actual visitor traffic. We do NOT guarantee actual article inclusion in each directory, as we don't own these directories and article inclusion is usually dependant on the owner's personal tastes. From my experience, most take in almost any article. Our regular price is $25/article, but for the next couple of days we're doing it for $10. If you want to reserve a spot in our inclusion service, pm me and we'll set up your project. Thanks! David www.articleauthors.net

Hi Donna, actually some directories do not notify that they've been accepted. Not only that, but sometimes it may take from 7 days to a month for the article to go 'live'. Also, some directories will email you back if the article has been accepted or not. Most of these directories will take ANY kind of article, so acceptance is pretty common. I use the email of the client so that they get notification of whether their article was accepted or not.

If you created a simple bot that scanned for the link-back at each web site and a summary page where webmasters could look to see if the link-back was there, I think you'd get more interest. It would be an easy way to see how successful the submission was.

Perhaps, but my programming days are way behind me now lol. What I can confirm is that the article DOES get submitted to the individual directories.

Get somebody to write it and offer the service for 12 an article and you may have a winner. The other thought is to publish the list so that related services might be objectively compared and that individuals might follow up on their own.

David - I guess what I meant is how would I know what I was getting for my $10 per article. How could I track what you were submitting to? You could do two submissions or 100 but I wouldn't be able to tell.

Oh, i see now now. We give each client a list of each of the directories we submit to. That way, the client can see whether their article is active or not.

For $10, or 10 cents a site, what is the big deal. Give it a try IF you do article submissions and see what the results are. Sure that is why jeeplaw is giving it away at $10 instead of the normal $25. Test it and see how it works, if they aren't any good then don't use them again. For $10 it's not worth my time to do the submissions.
