For 5 seconds I thought, maybe my techniques dont work anymore? I built www.jimmessenger.com and brought it to a PR 6 in 2 months, but it wouldnt even rank for "Jim Messenger" made me think, hmmmm could I not have a grasp on this whole Geo Targeting? NAH! Must be something else, so I built a test page for "Jim Messenger" and "Phoenix Realtor" on my own site (Page located at http://www.seo-guy.com/jim-messenger.html) and guess what, within 2 days of posting it I was on the first page for both in Google, using the exact techniques that I used to create the site itself.
What does this tell me? That a site that has new optimization efforts lots of backlinks and updated content in a short period of time is placed on a delay of some sort, what kind I don't know. How long? I don't know but its certainly holding true for some other testing domains as well. I am looking for some suggestions or workarounds if anyone has any experience with this and it would be greatly appreciated (Free site design appreciated if you come up with a viable solution) Here are some site stats: Pages in Google: 176 Backlinks showing in Google: 2060 Google Pagerank: 6 allinanchor hoenix real estate #6Approximitly 50% of all 2000+ backlinks come from real estate related websites (Many from members here thank you :0) KW density:Tried everything from high to low, usual tricks using h1 tags, kw in title, alt tag outbound links all that jazz So whats the deal? How come I can rank my SEO site in 2 days for "Phoenix realtor" which is completely irrelevant and not rank a site 100% dedicated to phoenix realtor? |
