Default How To Refresh Google Page Cache

Does anyone know how long it takes for Google to refresh a page in their cache?

Also, is there anything I can do to speed that up? Add new content, add code, etc.?

Are you referring to the whole site or a specific page Jeff?

I was referring to individual [inner] pages. My front page changes daily in Google but the inner pages don't.

The current HP cache appears to be Aug 24

Have given you another link to an internal so that the BOT will find it at approx. 02.00 GMT

Thank you for the help.

What is weird is the cached page [Aug 24] IS NOT my home page. That is an internal page. What do you think that is about?

google caches pages on your site at different times. If you want a specific page to get crawled more frequently and thus updated more frequently, add more links to that page...both from your site and others. It is that simple.

Also, adding content to that page or changing it can't hurt either.

What page got the update?

Any idea on why the cached snapshot of page in the Google toolbar is showing the wrong page?
