Hey Silicon, welcome to the forum
Please take these comments in the spirit of improvement as I am not trying to pick on you, just giving some helpful suggestions. I really dont like the clumping of links on the right hand site, it looks very unprofessional and that is what a sitemap is for. As for the site itself, I think it lacks something, perhaps some graphics (Please dont take this as picking on you, not every is good at graphics and I realize that) Maybe take your husbands realtor picture and place on the site to at least add somewhat of a personal touch, http://www.jimmessenger.com is an example of this, can put the text in a whole new light, perhaps because you are introducing yourself into the mix as well maybe a picture of you Those links on the right under Areas We Server dont even point to anywhere on the site, I would suggest writing your own unique content onsite for those areas, as this will help your rankings, and not make a user feel like they have been transported which is never good thing to do. I would label things like "Search" perhaps "HOMES SEARCH" or something so people know what it refers to, or mls search or whatever. I will let some more people make some comments and for link exchanges please post in the link exchange forum, I am sure there are tons of members that will link with you Cheers And again welcome

Hi Silicon Hills,
Welcome to the real estate webmaster forums! Your new site is fairly plain jane, but it is new. I agree with Morgan that a picture, or two, would go a long ways. Of course don't over do it and add twenty five animated gif's or anything, just a picture or two. Take a look at my website for real estate in Phoenix Arizona. I have used two pitures, a slideshow of homes I have sold and a few logos (Realty Executives, Fair Housing, Realtor, and e-PRO). Color really helps too. I went plain white, but used a style throughout my real estate site that mathces on every (almost) page. Now I know my site isn't tops, but it is my first big real estate website. JimM's site that SEO-guy mentioned is very professional and has a lot of nice touches. Take a look at the other members websites as well. Hope to see you around, chatting about real estate!
