I've heard that blogging about your local market and linking to your site in the process may help with SEO ? I don't think I have ftp access to blog on my own site... Does anyone have experience with homes dot com websites and blogging?
Anyways I wanted to have a signatue like i do in this forum and coded it the same way as i do in here ( that a member so graciously told me how to do). When I do post my sig. on my blog It doesn't show up though... Should I be coding it in html instead? I am using blogger.com Thanks for our help. ![]()

You can do this two ways. First, if you type in a whole URL like http://www.yoursite.com it will automatically turn into a link. You have to have the http:// part in there though.
Otherwise you can use the BB code that the forum uses to make a link like you would in HTML. To do this you can use the controls that show up on the signature editor (which are the same controls you see when you make a post). There is a little globe with a link icon there (right under the Color drop-down). There will be two pop-up boxes for this: first you enter the name of your site, then you enter the URL. Let me know if you need more help... |
