I am working on a new site for a real estate client and was wondering what is usually done for content on the website? I found a site offering weekly real estate tips, mortgage calculator and glossary (http://www.websitebiztips.com). Does anyone have any suggestions on this? Has anyone dealt with this company before?
Thanks. |

Everything they offer you can get for free elsewhere.

Thanks ResaleBroker.
I like the glossary and calculator. I will use those but am not interested in those feeds because (and I've looked at Inman before) : 1. they send the user to another site (and contain lots of advertising I'm not interested in) and/or 2. contain only US information and/or 3. are not formatted to match your website Thanks for the info though! |

I am having a hard time with the calculator from that site. It only allows a d/l for a unix file. Anyone have the raw html file minus ads?
Thanks, |

If you want a free solution and your client's site is framed, you can link the viewing frame to: http://content.realestateabc.com
News feeds don't do much because most news is not interesting to consumers. Tips and advice are better. Free calculator solutions usually link deeper into a site designed to generate leads for lenders. So, we offer personalized calculators and newsletter/content stuff that works for your clients, but...it rests on our servers, not your client's site directly. Personalized Calcs: http://www.realestateabc.com/propage...alcs/index.htm Newsletter/Content: http://www.realestateabc.com/propages/newsletter/ It isn't free, but it is less expensive than any other comparable solution on the web. I designed it that way. No copying allowed. All articles are original material and copyrighted, including the glossary.
