im having a little trouble...

i've never recieved a key (required for the above link) after i created my account (at google), so i emailed google and recieved:

If you can't find your key, you can have it re-sent. Please note that your
browser must accept cookies for this process to work. First, visit
http://www.google.com/apis/ and click on 'Create Account.' Fill in the
account creation form again with the same email address and password that
you used the first time, then click "I have read and agree to the Terms of
Use. Create my account." Google will resend your key to the email address
you used to create your account.

i did this and i am told that i cannot create a new account (which i figured) as the email address im trying to use is already in use. is thier another way other than creating a new account to get your api key?

You are in the Yahoo forum, and asked about checking yahoo rankings, you dont need a google API to check yahoo rankings.

In terms of the google API, I am not sure.

a little late....but i need a google api key to use www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/.

not important, i guess from browsing the AA forums it is something to do with AA sites, as many have dropped from Yahoo recently - including some from other major SE's. hope something comes a long soon...
