I would say you are banned. It doesn't matter what you did now, its hard to get back in. If you want confirmation, sign up for sitematch. When they deny your site they will give you a reason ie: Yahoo has penalized your site for something - usually duplicate content, or link farming.

I wasn't link farming and I wasn't duplicating content of websites. It was after yahoo algorithm update in August... There's much sites which was banned.. I have given link post back. It is advertise for webmasters and sites which was banned. My opinion is that Yahoo is improving their PPC... So they have banned sites with good results...

I have many sites that have good results on Yahoo, and many sites that got good results on Yahoo and very fast and have not had a problem with them. Only problems I've ever really seen with yahoo is when a site has done something that they don't like. I don't believe VKI-SEO was accusing you of duplicate content or link farming. It looks to me like he was saying if you were signed up with sitematch that they would tell you why your site was banned. And he then cited two examples of things that people could do wrong that sitematch would tell people that they've done wrong. and let's face it, they are probably the two most common. He's not saying that you did that.

H Vlado

With 29,000 links back to your site you probably have a few links which you do not realize may be from link farms or link exchanges..

What has happened is new algorithims now look at who links to your website and who links to the websites that link to you. If any of those used a link farm trade swap or purchase links, then the bots penalize your site for being in a bad neighborhood.

Also if all 29,000 links are pointing to a "links" or "resources" page... they no longer have as much value as an anchor text link using your keyword term and linked to your index page or another interior page which is relevant to the keyword terms.

On Yahoo this morning I am #5 for "natural search results listings"

I guarantee if you check my links and links of others above and below me in the listings many will have a great many more links to their sites than I do to mine..... as I think I have 17 altogether...

To find out if your site is banned in yahoo simply type www.yoursite.com into the yahoo search box...If it is listed, in the upper right hand corner it will tell you how many pages are indexed, and if there in nothing found you know you're banned.

At that point buy a new domain ..switch your content over, resubmit to the SEs and directories and start building quality link backs...

I hope in some way this helps..

Clint

If you what, it'd be interesting to know what Yahoo said.

SEO1, I doubt that yahoo would ban a site for inbound links. If that was possible, I would go out and buy a bunch of links from link farms that i know are bad, and have them all link to my competitors sites. Well, not saying that "I" would do that, but people could do that if that was the case. As far as I can see, you can not be penalized for inbound links.

hmmm, except for buying links.

How search engine recognize that you are buying links? Is there some list of webs that are selling links or..?

regarding bad neighborhood: if bad neighborhood links to you AND you links to that you may be penalized. That's only one occasion IMO.

Regarding email from YAHOO: they rewrite guidline on spam in other words and added note about that they possibily banned my site in error. So they advised me behave in order to guidline and wait for next update.
