Hi,

I was asked about someone who does real estate SEO. I discovered that he does a linking program that adds 2-4 links a day to a site. I also discovered that he seems to be getting one-way links from pages like this one:

http: //business. loanmont. com/

There are all kinds of these about cars, strawberries, and lots of other non-real estate related issues.

Does anyone recognize what is going on here? Any opinions? I know there are no pages on this person's site for reciprocating the links. It looks a bit strange.

This is just my opinion, one way links are cool but I'd avoid any sites that link indescriminantly.

It's easy, set up a ton of throw away sites, put garbage content on them and then offer one way links from them. Anyone can create these types of sites by the dozen per day, however they will never have any authority or relevance and as per VRI suggestion above, they are nothing but link farms. They will much more likely hurt your long term rankings than help them.

Thanks, guys. I figured it was black-hat stuff. I've just never seen anything like it. Someone comes up with some stupid way to try and fool the search engines every day. Amazing.

Has anyone seen a layout like that site before? I'm wondering if it's from a link exchange website, or if it's just this one SEO making all the pages.
