Ok guys I have just finished getting some mock content placed into my newest design / SEO clients site http://www.jakemarsh.com/ please pay no attention to the verbage of the fact that most of the links dont work I am just looking to get your opinions as to yes or no for the site design. What do you like, what dont you like comments praises etc are welcome. Chris did a great job IMO on the colors and images and I am quite please with how it is working out so far, but second third fourth and 20th opinions are always welcome

I think it looks amazing!!!!! I like the colors and the layout.. The top image adds alot to the site, gives it a good look and a nice way to implement Jake into the site...

Really like the look of the site. Having spent my college years in Denver, there aren't many things more beautiful than the sun setting over the Rockies and you captured it nicely. Homepage looks great and colors work well. It's not too cluttered and appears like it will be easy for viewers to find what they're looking for. Nice job.

Great looking site. Pesonally, I would put my own initials or name in the upper right hand corner where you put the KW initials.

I'm a fan of center align so I like the look. Nice job of adding depth with the shading as well as top graphic. I think adding the agents name graphically would be of help, but I'm guessing he has no logo on his own. maybe try something different or in addition to the KW. Navigation location stands out well with right bar as well as top nav choices. I especially like the area info option on Denver. Only suggestion would be to use content area with some icons or bulleted items. Users are looking for the phrase or keyword that identifies with their situation. Quick regocnition and access is very powerful to the user. Nice job overall.

Yeah the content in the body is just filler as this is the agents first website of his own and thus doesnt have content so I will be writing it. I was just more concerned with the first impression, color layout etc, seems to be working out so far as I havent seen one bad review in the few forums I have posted in, thanks for the input guys
Cheers

I too work for KW.

First, the skyline photo behind you looks like it came from http://www.denvergov.org

This being the case, you need to note that you have been given approval to post it on your website, along with Keller Williams Realty site disclaimers, copyright, etc. You're welcome to visit my page at http://dennisjames.net/disclaimer.html on Friday after I get my server repaired tomorrow.

Don't copy the text from http://www.denver.org/visitors/index.asp to your first paragraph.

You need to promote yourself first, not KW. So I would remove the KW atop your page.

I'll be happy to exchange links with you at http://dennisjames.net/reciprocal.html

The content is just copy paste mostly right now as we are writing his content, we just filled in the pages so that he could have an appreciation as to how the nav is being plotted etc, we are nowhere near completion of content etc, we are just finalizing design.

As far as Copyright, I have no idea about that I suppose I should pass the message onto Jake to talk to KW, if you would email me or PM any more details Im sure he and I would both appreciate it (I know I will) keep in mind Im not a realtor, I am just designing and SEOing the site so I am not as aversed in these legal matters as most.

As for the origination of the skyline, I believe it was purchased but I will check on that, if not and Chris sourced it I will certainly post his permission mail somewhere on the site (Obviously not on the image itself)

Anyways thanks for the advice and I will take a look at your site as soon as it is up
