Default Results once on page 1

Hey guys, for those of you who have been consistently procuring sales from your website each month:

Do you know when closings started to occur during your seo campaing?

By that I mean was it only once you were on page 1 of google for heavy hitting search phrases or before that?

Also, have any of you gotten really high on page 1 of google, and not closed any business from your site?

My wife had been a REALTOR for 2 years before I joined the team. She has a website (come to think of it it's still floating in cyberspace www.kellyscastles.com ) It had ZERO link partners, Zero SEO done on it and it did not bring one customer.

When I joined the team (only six months ago) I knew that 70%-80% of homebuyers start their home search on the web. I wanted to be one of the sites people came to when looking for homes. It took about 4 months of 2 or more hours a day tweaking my site before I started hitting #1 for some of my keywords. Even then, living in a seasonal Beach town the customers did not really start buying again until about three weeks ago. I believe 75% of our customers come from the web. I have 7 deals on the table right now with 5 of them closing in the next 30 days because of my website.
We advertise a Open House schedule on our home page that consistently brings people from PA,NJ and NY. It always amazes me when I talk to people who drove three hours to see my houses because they saw it on my website. It brings a smile to my face when they actually print out my maps and pictures and say "I'd like to see this house I found on your site"

We've consistently generated sales from our sites with or without being on page 1 of Google for heavy hitting search phrases. Of course, the higher your page appears in the SERPs the more traffic you can expect (from any SE).

Are the clients mostly relo?

What is your method for closing leads that come in?

I dont think you can associate closings with rankings, closings are associated with your skill level.

What you can associate with rankings is leads. The higher your rankings the more traffic, the more traffic the more leads. Whether you close those leads depends on your process and method as well as your skill level.
