Number one rule that I Ihave learned is to make the post title precise and factual rather than catchy and tabloid-like. Its boring, but it works.

Using blogs you can surely pull traffic towards your website, but if your business relates to stock market business, and you recieve clicks from 50,000 kids aged in between 5-10, you will clearly understand my point.

Having blogs related to topics unrelated to your business arena can surely give you clicks, but those clicks will not help your business. Though you can use Google adsense, and can get sponsered by BIG clients if your blog is really a traffic puller. Otherwise It will be like holding a glass of water in a vast ocean.
