I have heard that 75% of all new home searches are done on the internet. Is that true?

What % of all searches are done on Google?

I am working on a generic Listing Presentation and what no show that my rank on Google will help get homes sold.

For 2005 NAR stats are that 77 or 78% of buyers started their search online. So I just use about 80% when talking with clients.

As for Google I don't have that number, but have seen it many times. One thing, when you do find the stats make sure to add in all of the AOL searches also as G provides AOL's search results.

If you are talking about middle class, white collar the stats shoot up to the low to mid 90% range.

Don't know what percent of the searchers are doing it on Google, but when we are ranking very well on both MSN and Google for many of the same terms, 70% of our visitors are referred from Google.

depending on kw used..I get big google searches on one site, a plenty on yahoo on another site and more with msn with another site..

so it's always good to rank well in all three
