There is a spot to upload images directly from your hard drive. It's the little square with the bit of orange/red color on it (I think it's supposed to be a person) 6th box from the left.

I had not noticed the button because I seem to have to go in to expert mode to do my uploading.
I did just log in and went to normal mode but I kept getting an error when I tried to upload a jpeg, gif, or a picture. When I hit previe it shows a small box with an "x" in it.
