I have a template website and read that it is difficult for Google to spider them. I am thinking about adding a Site Map to each page. Any thoughts or advice?

Just Do It!
A site map is a must have. However I would have a link to a page which is a site map on every page, rather than a site map on every page. Sites that do often look spammy. On your http://www.thesarasotamls.com/ I would: * Rethink everything from "Referral Network" down. Have one link to the network, then links from the intro page to all the pages. * Get rid of those buttons that insist on being on your home page. Identify how much inbound traffic you get and keep the best. Most are wannabe's. * Any with the word "link" in them should be assessed twice eg worldpropertylinks and links-pal. * Put the words: Sarasota Real Estate - Siesta Key Real Estate - Longboat Key Real Estate inside a < h 1 > tag. hope this helps.... Sarah

sitemap = great idea. Good for your users and good for the bots.

I'd double check who you link with there sarasota, just noticed that you link with a site wayneandfriends.com. If I were you I probably wouldn't link with them. Looks like they've been banned. For being that old of a site, yet having no PR and showing only 1 back link. Also because of this, doesn't look like your getting credit for the back link. And if this site is in fact banned, I wouldn't be wanting to link to it.

Did you check that manually or do have software that checks the PR?

i checked it manually, why?

I was wondering how a website with a large number of backlinks could find out periodically if any of the sites linked to had been banned.

I dunno, I check them manually. Programs seem to have errors. I hate getting messages from people that run programs that say the link isn't there, but the link is there. annoys me to no end.
