Default Phishing, a new twist

Thought that this would be worth pointing everyone to. There is a new vulnerability in Internet Explorer and the Phishing scams are taking advantage of it.

Now I know that most everyone here can spot the typical phishing scam, but this really is worth the two minutes to read it. Plus how many of our clients aren't as tech savvy??

Thanks for the info, I still use IE, sometimes Firefox. I get SEVERAL phishing emails a day. Very easy to spot but I know people who have sent their paypal information, etc to these people. Terrible!

FYI for everyone a new one is claiming to be from the IRS and that the person has an unclaimed refund. All they have to do is fill out a online form and they will get $xx.xx. Why people fall for this I don't know, but they do.

LOL - the IRS owing me money?! That's one I'd surely never fall for. However, those other scams do look real & I shudder to think how many people give their information out.
