Could you place a work order in for adding a Flash presentation ability?

I would like to be able to add some sort of presentation on:

The city of Memphis, Germantown, other cities
maybe a downtown condo one, places of interest, etc.

Something on a slightly larger scale as the listings presentation we have on our sites now would be cool.

That wuld be perfect for a slide show of a city, etc.

Would I have the control to place it on various pages, or would I have to ask in advance which pages i wanted it on?

So let me get this straight - you want "us" to create a slideshow for you right? Are you providing the pictures? Once created, we will upload to the server, and provide you with the html you need to include so you can put it on whatever pages you want, does that work?

I am wanting the ability to provide a slide show or show case pictures of say Downtown Memphis, special events, other areas.

I like the idea of having something similar as the "listings" feature where I can go in and add or delete "items" pictures, etc. The problem is that the pictures in the Listing slide presentation are too small for "cities", I believe anyway.

My obejective is to come up with the easiest way to be able to provide and showcase pictures of different areas and events.

That one link I followed, had nice big pictures, I liked that, but can I manipulate myself on what pages to place that?

ANd yes, I would provide all the pictures. I am also going to start in Collierville and provide a few pictures of each neighborhood so clients can get a general feel for that particular neighborhood.

Am I being unrealistic?

No not at all - I am just trying to figure out a way for you to do it without having to have any flash knowlege - I think I can do this - create an xml file that you can change image names to, upload the images and change them at your liesure. That way we could provide you with dimensions for your images, and you could crop them in photoshop or whatever then just upload them to the server and change the xml filenames. I have a pretty good idea of how to do this. I am not 100% sure on exact hours, might take between 3-6 hours to do. I would consider that a rough quote.

I have emailed him 2-3 times asking for a quote of feasibility on that and several other items, and have never heard back from him.

I am going to try to fit this in the production schedule for this week, but I am not 100% sure that we can. I will know on Monday after our production meeting and will update your ticket at that time.

In terms of your other question - you will be able to place this yourself on any page you want by copy pasting the html that sources the .swf

Once this is done once, you will be able to have more than one of these created that you can work with (And creating subsequent ones will take very little time) but each time you want to have another unique one, you will have to request it. The reason being is we will have to recompile a new .swf for each unique slideshow you want as each one will have to source its images from a unique .xml file (images1.xml, images2.xml etc)
